My first thought when I saw Michael was, what arresting eyes you have…followed quickly by hey, are those green or blue?!
But once I was able to look past his obvious charms, I realized he’s really rather talented.

On the big screen
Michael has kept us entertained in some pretty major films. We felt sorry for him when he played former street thug Ricky Nash in Barbershop because Ricky just couldn’t do anything right.
He also played Ben Thomas, Will Smith's "brother" in the heartbreaking film Seven Pounds. But thank goodness it’s not always drama, drama, drama as Michael managed to make us laugh in Think like a Man when he tried to win over the heart of independent woman, Lauren.
And on TV
Michael was nominated for a Golden Globe award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for the series Sleeper Cell and later appeared in The Good Wife as attorney Derrick Bond.
